Imagine taking a journey to South Surrey and seeing an outdoor Christmas display where the Nativity story comes to life in a wooded setting with nine theatres which include life-size mannequins, props, theatrical and Christmas lights, a colorful backdrop in each theatre and an audio soundtrack. Your experience will be supplemented with a cup of hot chocolate, cookies and some carol-singing. This is the 11th annual St. Mark’s Journey of Christmas and it runs December 17 – 27.
One of the many highlights of the 10 event is the wide range of participation in live music component.
St. Mark's, Ocean Park is conveniently located on public transit from Vancouver. Take the Canada Line to Bridgeport Station, transfer to #351 Crescent Beach and get off at 20th and 128 Street and walk one block east to the church.
