Kingsway Deanery priests gathered at St Paul's Vancouver for their May 2022 meeting and one of the features was a presentation by David Van Blarcom, a parishioner at Christ Church Cathedral, Vice-President of the Board of the 127 Society and a member of the current diocesan Task Force on Homelessness and Affordable Housing. The Reverend Alecia Greenfield who supplied these two photos reported that they "had an excellent discussion that recognized the urgency and complexity of housing and homelessness issues in our region."

The task force wants to hear from parishes about their outreach efforts, ideas, challenges and opportunities. They are eager to listen, learn and bring your ideas and needs to the forefront, in a report to Synod 2023.

Then the priests who had gathered that day went for a walk and visited the infamous Vancouver Barge, still stuck on the north side of English Bay.
