As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, in partnership with VCH, Christ Church Cathedral will be hosting an information open house on November 22 from 5:30 - 7pm.
The event will focus on raising awareness of the new Access and Assessment Centre (ACC), Vancouver’s newest one-stop, 24/7 access centre for mental and substance use concerns, urgent needs and emergencies.
Brochures and various information will be available and mental health professionals will be present to answer questions.

Mental Health & Every Day Life - a three hour seminar/workshop
January 21, 2017
On January 21, 2017, the Mental Health Ministry of Christ Church Cathedral will be sponsoring a full morning session from 9:30 - 12:30 on various aspects of mental health. The morning will be broken into three areas of learning: What is Mental Health; The Recovery Journey; Managing Me, Loving You. There will be opportunities for sharing in small groups.
This seminar is presented by Sanctuary Ministries, a small, faith-based Christian organization which supports churches in their discernment/learning process in the area of mental health.
There is no fee for this morning, but participants must register as space is limited. Please let your parishes know that they are welcome to send reps or members interested in these issues.
