The Reverend Tasha Carrothers has been appointed Vicar of St Mary Magdalene, Vancouver beginning on March 1, 2021. She succeeds the Reverend John Marsh who retired at the end of 2020. Tasha is currently Missioner for Parish Development on diocesan staff and Curate at Holy Trinity Cathedral, New Westminster.
Tasha will be leaving Diocesan Staff after 13 plus years of ministry, however, her skills and extensive knowledge of the diocese will be called on in the future.
When asked to comment on her appointment, the Reverend Carrothers said:
"I'm delighted by my appointment to St. Mary Mag. It's a wonderfully inclusive community with creative liturgy. I'm looking forward to joining them as we discern and live into ministry in this neighbourhood over the next few years."
