Nominations are now open for parish nominees to the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster (ODNW). The deadline for nominations is Thursday, April 30, 2026. Each parish can nominate one person to the Order. 

The Order was established to acknowledge lay members of the Diocese who have devoted 
themselves to outstanding volunteer ministry over a significant period of time. The Investiture Service takes place every other year. 

To be eligible for investiture into the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster, nominees must be Lay members of the Church, have provided volunteer service in a parish, across multiple parishes (such as through commitees, parish councils, outreach initiatives, or parish programs), and/or at the Diocesan level, have served for a significant length of time and be aware of and willingly accept their nomination prior to the nomination form being submitted. 

There is an information sheet below regarding the nomination process. Please read the Information Sheet carefully and complete the online nomination form in full.

The Investiture Service for the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:30 am at St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church (022 Nelson St. #100, Vancouver, BC V6E 4S7)
