THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH (Psalm 23)  -Perspectives of Patients and Families on End of Life and Medical Assistance in Dying.                                Wednesday, June 8, 7pm, 3737 West 27th, Avenue, Dunbar

Nine months after their well-attended and positively reveiwed panel discussion on the same theme, St. Philip's, Dunbar will again offer a discussion about what is commonly called Physician Assisted Death (PAD) or Medical Assistance in Dying.

The panel discussion will be led by Dr. David Kuhl, author of "What Dying People Want: Practical Wisdom for the End of Life" and the Very Reverend Peter Elliott, Dean of the Diocese of New Westminster and Rector of Christ Church Cathedral.

Moderated by The Venerable John Bailey, Interim Priest-in-Charge at St. Philip’s,
the discussion will focus on issues of concern to those with serious illness facing the end of life and those who care about them, and thoughts that arise as they consider medical assistance in dying.

The September event attracted a large group, so come early to ensure getting a seat.
