PWRDF will be encouraging people to ride or walk to raise funds for their partner, Refuge Egypt (a ministry of the Anglican cathedral in Cairo) in this year’s Ride for Refuge.  Cairo has seen a huge influx of Syrian refugees over the last few years, straining the UN’s capacity to support them. In response, PWRDF has increased funding to help provide health care to children under 5 and their families.

This year's Ride for Refuge will take place October 3, 2105. Join with other members of your parish, or create your own route to ride or walk, and fundraise to support PWRDF partner Refuge Egypt along the way!  In 2014, riders from coast to coast helped PWRDF raise over $18,000 to support refugees in South Sudan.

Last year's Vancouver Team had a great time and a successful effort. Please contact PWRDF Chair Peter Goodwin for more information on how to participate.
