Since the early Spring of 2022, with the continued easing of COVID restrictions, a half dozen parishioners have met on Friday mornings in the parish hall of St. Oswald’s to piece and sew colourful quilts. Upon completion, some were donated to the Langley compassionate service organization Kimz Angels.  Kimz Angels work with local schools, churches and shelters offering support to people in need. The latest delivery from St. Oswald's was 10 quilts to a wonderful woman called Eunice Mitchel who is very involved with Ukrainian refugees. The quilts were delivered July 18, and Eunice was kind enough to take these photos and submit them. You can see in the photo that a couple of quilts have already made their way to new owners! We are so happy to have been a part of her ministry. I am happy to report that as of the third week of July there are 8 more quilts nearing completion.

Many thanks to Joyce Mancinelli of St. Oswald's for this submission.
