For many people one of the hardest parts of having to worship on-line is not being able to receive the Eucharist.

This Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday the Cathedral will be distributing communion outside the Cathedral. Physical distancing measures will be in place and masks should be worn. To ensure that enough communion wafers are consecrated, we encourage all who wish to receive communion on one of these days to fill in the google form for the day of their choice.

Maundy Thursday
From 12:30pm to 1:30pm clergy will distribute the Eucharist on the Burrard Street plaza. Clergy will give you an individually packaged wafer. You are asked to take the pre-packaged wafer, move past the clergy and other communicants, and then unmask and consume the wafer. In order to ensure sufficient wafers are consecrated for everyone who wishes to receive, you are asked to indicate your desire to participate here.

Easter Sunday
From 12pm - 1pm Cathedral clergy will be stationed on the Burrard Street Plaza and in the back laneway to distribute the Eucharist.

For those walking to the Cathedral there will be a physically distanced communion line on the Burrard Street plaza.

Anyone driving to the Cathedral may drive into the back laneway via the Hornby Street access (just before the access to the Park Place parkade) and receive the Eucharist without leaving their vehicles.

Whether walking or driving you are asked to move away from the clergy before unmasking and consuming the wafer. In order to ensure sufficient wafers are consecrated for everyone who wishes to receive, you are asked to indicate your desire to participate here.
