We are now able to provide this health care service to persons who are experiencing homelessness with gratitude to the City of Richmond and the Extreme Weather Shelter. We need 6 – 10 volunteers per Saturday morning from 7:30-9:30am. Service includes: welcome and care of belongings, shower program (safety of guest, toiletries, clean clothing) and breakfast. Volunteers will receive excellent training to equip them for this ministry. The first shower guest from the Extreme Weather Shelter spoke of being restored in dignity. Please consider these several hours as an invaluable gift to someone.
