There were many Strawberry Teas around the Diocese of New Westminster held Saturday and Sunday, June 23rd and 24th. St. Thomas, Chilliwack was the first to send their Strawberry Tea report into the diocesan communications office.
The Reverends John Sovereign and Jennifer Burgoyne were delighted to report that about 70 people attended and were treated to delicious strawberry shortcake, chocolate covered strawberries and tea served with elaborate table settings and decorations. The patrons at the tea were entertained by coloratura soprano, Jane Perrett and for the third year in a row a Women’s Fashion Show staged by Auld Phillips.
