On the morning of Thursday, May 15th, members of Synod Staff met in the 401 Boardroom for the penultimate Staff Synod Planning meeting.
Synod takes place at the Italian Cultural Centre, May 23rd and 24th and the theme of this, the 115th Synod of the Diocese of New Westminster is "And always we begin again - The Benedictine Way".
The Synod Planning Committee under the leadership of Chair, Simon Johnston of St. Mary's, Kerrisdale wrapped up the planning part of their responsibilities last week and now it is time for Synod staff to organize, registration and elections among other things.
