Church choir singers run the gamut from the highly trained to the neophyte. But all good singers know that it's important to take the opportunity to learn new skills whenever possible - and this workshop is a wonderful chance for both the singers and for their choir directors.

Martin Regier
The BC Choral Federation is encouraging singers to begin the New Year with new knowledge about their voices, how they work, and how to keep them in good condition. Dr Marvin Regier, a voice clinician well known in Vancouver, and currently teaching at Pearson College in Victoria, will lead a morning's session on vocal health and production, and with a repertoire chosen with church choirs in mind.

The workshop will take place Saturday 24 January, 10am-1pm, at Broadmoor Baptist Church (8140 Saunders Road, Richmond) The cost is $20 per singer; $18 each for five or more members of a choir; or $150 for a choir.
