The CostLenten Reflection by Herbert O'Driscoll In flippant phrases such as “there’s no free lunch” we acknowledge a deep truth about life. Everything has a cost. He answers, “Hell” and says no more. There are no words to describe that devastation. When the scale of the disaster became clear, the word “disaster” became meaningless.
