October 4: Application Deadlines for Parishes
Parishes should submit a completed application form (no cover letter required) to pdgrants@vancouver.anglican.ca. Further consultation and clarification may follow with the Parish Development Grants team.
November 4: Mission & Ministry Development Committee Reviews applications
December 11: Final Approval is given by Anglican Iniatives Fund
Parish Development Grants are aimed at supporting parish-level project that in some manner help with “growing communities of faith in Jesus Christ to serve God’s mission in the world.”
Priority is given to project that extend outreach to the community, meet community needs, engage with newcomers, enhance liturgy and Christian formation, and promote children and youth ministry.

Grant Availability: Parish Development Grants are offered semi-annually, in the spring and fall.
Eligibility: Only parishes within the Diocese of New Westminster are eligible to apply. Parishes that receive grants in consecutive years must observe a one-year waiting period before applying for new project funding.
Review & Recommendation: The diocesan Parish Development Grants Committee will thoroughly evaluate projects based on the guiding principles, make recommendations to strengthen the application, and recommend approved applications to AIF.
Final Approval: Administrators of the Anglican Initiatives Fund will give final approval to applications.
Fund Disbursment: Approved funds will be disbursed according to the parish's requests, when needed.
Reporting: Reports on projects must be submitted by the prescribed deadline.
Multi-Year Project Funding: Applications for multi-year projects must be resubmitted each year during the funding period. Multi-year projects may receive funding for a maximum of three years. Each year, the grant funding request must decrease by at least 30% from the previous year, while parish funding must increase annually.
