St. Hilda's church building was found to be unsafe in the Summer of 2017, and the parish worshipped in the parish hall during the 15 plus months of planning, fundraising and renovations.
This was the first principal Sunday Eucharist celebrated back in the building.
Archbishop Skelton rededicated the building and dedicated and blessed the new west transept that had been constructed to greatly increase the stability of the building.
