In honour of Indigenous History Month, we are launching the next stage of the Feather Dance project.

"Feather Dance" is an Indigenous-led collaboration in textile arts, with a focus on storytelling, wisdom sharing, relationship building, and community handwork.

Entitled "Sacred Covering: Bearing Witness,” the next stage of the project is a large work of art (a covering) designed by Indigenous elder and designer, Rikki Kooy, and is a hands-on work of reconciliation and healing. Gathering together, online (or in-person when allowed) we will share stories and piece together this project. The project is an Indigenous-led collaboration to connect Indigenous, settler, and refugee in hand crafting in a relationship of mutual respect and creative action.

Join us online on Saturday, June 19 at 10am. Zoom link will be sent to registrants.
