On Sunday, June 27 it is an annual occasion and reminder to remember in our prayers 'those who go down to the sea in ships' - for their safety, security, and labours. Many spend months and months from home, from their families and in an often dangerous occupation. It is also an opportunity to pray for the Reverend Peter Smyth, Senior Port Chaplain and our ministry of the Mission to Seafarers.
