On Thursday, November 6 at 6:30pm St James' will hold a Requiem Mass for All Souls'. The music will be from Gabriel Fauré's Requiem. It is the best-known of his large works. Fauré wrote of it, "Everything I managed to entertain by way of religious illusion I put into my Requiem, which moreover is dominated from beginning to end by a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest." This is a rare opportunity to experience his transcendent work in its fitting liturgical context.
