Join the Feather Circle ~ Next Gathering April 15

You are invited to consider participating in the Feather Circles led by Diocesan Indigenous Elder-in-Residence, Rikki Kooy.

These circles are a monthly series of gatherings intended for wisdom sharing and mutual support in the ongoing work of reconciliation.

Key to this is relationship building, which needs time and commitment to develop. The hope is to create a cohort of people journeying and learning together, and from one another, who then also share the learning with their communities – broadening the reach.

Folks who have been involved have found it to be a generous learning space, and have deeply appreciated Rikki’s teaching, as well as the opportunity to learn from other artists and elders, and to share that experience together. Important for this is the sense of continuity and building connections.

We recognize there is time and can also be distance involved. It is a commitment of approximately 4-6 hours a month. The gathering is open to all – clergy and lay people.

There are three more circles before a break for the summer. The circles will then resume in September.

Upcoming Dates: Wednesdays April 15, May 13, June 10 from 11am – 2pm.

In Elder Rikki’s words, “You are invited. A space has been prepared for you. Embrace the journey.”

In April we will be talking about how to invite, welcome, and honour elders visiting your community. A great time to come. Perhaps we will see you there. To assist with planning, please RSVP to info@sthildegards.ca
