DYM Winter Retreat: Love is Kind

Join us for the DYM Winter retreat at Alex House, open to youth ages 12-18. Near the beach in Whiterock, Alex House provides a relaxed setting for fun, reflection, and enrichment for youth in the Diocese. This year’s Winter Retreat will include all the things youth come to expect, time to make friends, relax, play games, get creative, and learn something new.

Retreat Highlights:

Games: Fun activities to break the ice and bond with other youth from other parishes.
Movie Night: Youth can enjoy a movie night with snacks and refreshments provided.
Trivia Night: Test your teams knowledge with our annual trivia night.
Arts and Crafts: Get creative with arts and linked to the session and in downtime too.
Sports and Team Games: Youth can participate in optional sports games like soccer and basketball during downtime.
Sessions & Worship: Reflective sessions with worship, and participating in the Eucharist throughout the weekend.
Beach Hike: Explore the beach nearby with a guided hike.
Local Shop Visit: Bring some cash for the tuck shop/concession and the local shop visit.

All meals, sessions and activities are included, the price is $250.

Youth are encouraged to attend with their youth groups, but individuals are also welcome to register - we always make an effort to make youth welcome, build relationships and have a fun weekend.
