St Catherine of Alexandria, Port Coquitlam with St Columba, Pitt Meadows- the Canonical Committee has recommended to the Bishop that she appoint the Reverend Karen Urquhart as their next Rector. The Bishop concurred and Karen has accepted. Karen is currently a priest in the Diocese of Bunbury, Province of Western Australia. The Reverend Gord Dominey will continue as Intentional Interim Priest-in-Charge until Karen’s arrival.
The Revd Robin Celiz will be welcomed as the new Priest-in-Charge (Vicar) of St Martin, North Vancouver with a Celebration of New Ministry on Wednesday, October 1st at 7 pm. The Ven Lynne McNaughton, Regional Archdeacon of Capilano, will preach. The liturgical colour is green.

At St Laurence, Coquitlam, the Parish is continuing a period of self-study and the Reverend April Stanley has been appointed as the Interim Priest-in-Charge.At Christ the Redeemer, Surrey, the Reverend Paul Borthistle begins an Intentional Interim Ministry for a two-year term as the parish goes through a period of self-study.
The Canonical Process at St. Cuthbert’s, Delta, will begin with a period of self-study prior to preparing the parish profile. The Reverend Arthur Nash is Priest-in-Charge during the interregnum.The Reverend William Roberts has resigned as Priest-in-Charge at St. John’s, Squamish effective October 27, 2014 to begin an appointment with Sabeel Centre in Jerusalem. A Priest-in-Charge will be appointed following consultation with the Canonical Committee.
