The Rev. Keith Gilbert has accepted the Diocesan Administrator’s appointment as the Priest-in-Charge of St Laurence, Coquitlam beginning September 15th, 2013. Keith concluded his work as ‘Sunday Supply Priest’ at St Mary, South Hill on August 31st on the appointment of Father Expedito Farinas. The induction for Expedito as Rector of St Mary, South Hill will be held on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013. Please mark your calendar and come to participate in this celebration.
St Bartholomew’s, Gibsons will welcome the Rev. Ian Nestegaard Paul as their new Priest-in-Charge effective October 1st. Ian is also the Pastor of Living Faith Church (ELCIC) in Sechelt. A service of Celebration of New Ministry will be held and details will be available soon. Stay tuned!
Holy Trinity Cathedral is receiving a new priest on November 1st, 2013, when the Rev. Dale Yardy will begin as their next Rector. Dale is currently the Rector of St John’s, Sardis. The Ven. John Bailey will resign the Parish and as Archdeacon of Westminster on October 31st. An appointment is pending for John to continue in a leadership role with the Parish of Holy Trinity Cathedral in support of the building development project.
Holy Trinity, Vancouver has asked that the Rev. Karl Przywala be appointed their next Rector. Karl will begin February 1st, 2014. He is currently a parish priest in Nottingham, England.
