All Saints Anglican Church, Agassiz welcomed First Responders and a pipe band to their 3rd Annual Peace Officers Appreciation Day held on a beautiful, sunny Sunday, October 16th, 2011. Mounties, dressed in red serge, other officers in duty attire, Commercial Vehicle & Safety Enforcement Peace officers (CVSE), the CPR Police, Corrections Officers, and Harrison Hot Springs Fire Department were all represented. Several officers brought family and friends. The church was bursting at the seams with the capacity congregation.

The Harrison Highlanders Pipe Band welcomed the community as they came to lunch, and played during the early part of the meal. The main course of the meal was BBQ, (courtesy of Correctional Officer, Kevin Phenix) accompanied by pot-luck dishes provided by members of the congregation.

Event Organizer, Leroy Burden has done an exemplary job involving so many from the community and the region in this event. The All Saints community is looking forward to doing it again in 2012.
