Greetings to Jewish Neighbours on Shavuot
The Ecumenical/Multi-Faith Unit Group and the Bishop of New Westminster have coordinated a letter of greeting to local Jewish communities on their celebration of Shavuot. This year Shavuot begins at sunset on May 25.
As followers of Christ, we take seriously Jesus' call to walk in peace with one another. If you have a Jewish friend, neighbour, co-worker, or family member, be sure to share with them this letter of greeting and the peace Christ has given you.
The Ecumenical/Multi-Faith Unit Group is looking for new participants who are interested in learning about building relationships with people of differing faiths and Christian traditions.
