Correctional Supervisor Sgt. Greg Fensome was awarded the Corrections Exemplary Service Medal at Government House in early December. This medal is only awarded to those who have served in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency and must have completed twenty years of full-time service. This service must include ten years as a peace officer in an institution, parole officer or probation officer, or in a capacity which has brought the recipient into contact with offenders in the regular performance of duties.
Greg was presented the award by Deputy Solicitor General, Lori Wannamaker and The Honourable Judith Guichon, 29th Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.
