The Board of the Anglican Church Women (ACW) invite you to a presentation by Cathy Peters. The relevance for Anglicans today calls for the eradication of human trafficking and modern slavery, and was a major ministry goal of our former Primate, Archbishop Fred Hiltz. A modern equal society does not buy or sell women or children.

All are welcome, the event is open to everyone: youth, men, women, neighbours and friends.

Mrs. Cathy Peters has been “raising awareness” to the new pandemic of Child Sex Trafficking ( CST, the buying and selling of children for sex) in British Columbia for the last 5 years, at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal levels of government.  Cathy is a former inner-city high school teacher and has done volunteer work for 3 Members of Parliament totalling 5 years.  She has presented at over 170 presentations on this specific issue in BC for 3 years since the “Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act” became Federal Law.

Please join us at St. Dunstan's, Aldergrove, 3025, 264th Street on Saturday, February 29 at 1:30pm to learn more about this important topic.
