Many thanks to Felly Farinas of St. Mary's South Hill for sending these photos taken by her husband, rector of St. Mary's, the Reverend Fr. Expedito Farinas and also for the captions describing the images that highlight the parish's Christmas breakfast for the community, Saturday, December 8. The breakfast was an initiative of the newly formed Mothers' Union chapter at St. Mary South Hill.

The Theme was: " God cares about the poor and we are to care as well". Inspired by two Biblical verses: "The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor", Proverbs 22:9... and, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least for these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me", Matthew 25:40.

The meal featured, pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, hot chocolate and more and was much enjoyed by parishioners and guests from the neighbourhood.
