Walk down many streets in the Lower Mainland and you will see evidence of a diversity of faith communities. We encounter the people of faith from these communities in our neighbourhoods, workplaces, schools, supermarkets, community centres, and stadiums. What do they believe? How have we got on in the past and how do we relate to each other now? How might these relationships be deeper and contribute more to the wellbeing of our communities?
These are some of the questions we will be asking in this study. Join us in person at St. Thomas Anglican Church (2444 E 41st Avenue, Vancouver, V5R 2W4, or via Zoom . ‘Interfaith Dialogue’ has developed as a way of thinking about how we relate to people of other faiths. What are the different kinds of interfaith dialogue? What are some examples of these in action? How might we engage in these ourselves?
