A Celebration of New Ministry will take place at St Alban, Richmond on Wednesday, September 5 when the Reverend Paula Porter Leggett is licensed as Vicar. The Archdeacon of Westminster, the Venerable Elizabeth Northcott will preach.
The Reverend Vivian Lam has been appointed Rector of St John the Apostle, Port Moody effective November 20, 2018. Vivian will complete her current incumbency as Rector of St. Matthias and St. Luke, Oakridge in October and she will also resign from her appointment as Regional Dean of Granville. The Reverend Tim Morgan formerly of the Diocese of Niagara but currently licensed in the diocese of New Westminster is providing interim ministry as priest-in-charge of St. John’s beginning August 27 through to November 19. December 11, 7pm, is the date set for the Induction of The Revd Vivian Lam as the next Rector of St John the Apostle, Port Moody. The Venerable Douglas Fenton, DD, Executive Archdeacon will preach.
The Reverend Gregory Jenkins has been appointed Rector of St. Alban the Martyr, Burnaby effective October 1, 2018. Greg formerly served as Rector of Trinity Church, Cambridge, ON and Archdeacon of Waterloo in the diocese of Huron. Greg will be inducted at a Celebration of a New Ministry Eucharist, October 9, 2018.

St Andrew, Langley will be the venue for a Celebration of New Ministry on October 10, when The Reverend Andrew Halladay is licensed as Vicar. As of this writing in mid-August a preacher has not yet been invited. Rev. Halladay continues as the Director for the Diocesan School for Parish Development in the dioceses of New Westminster and Ottawa.
