St. Mark's Concerts is proud to present Fire and Ice in its first concert of the 2014-2015 season. The concert is featuring internationally know pianist Krystyna Tucka and a local up and coming cellist Benjamin Louwersheimer. They will be featuring two works, Beethoven's Cello Sonata in A Major, op. 69 and Chopin's Cello Sonata in G Minor. Come and discover what makes the writing of Beethoven feel like fire with his incredible passion and the writing of Chopin like ice with his calm, calculated yet stunningly beautiful lines.
The concert will be held Sunday, October 26th, 2014 - 2:00pm at St. Mark's Anglican Church. 12953 - 20th Ave,nue, Surrey, BC. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets. There will be tea and goodies served during intermission. We hope to see you there!
