The Ecumenical/Multi-Faith Unit Group and the Bishop of New Westminster have coordinated a letter of greeting to local Buddhist communities on Bodhi Day. This year Bodhi Day is celebrated on December 8.

You can learn about Bodhi Day here and why it is an important day in the faith tradition of our Buddhist neighbours.

The Ecumenical/Multi-Faith Group is looking for new participants who are interested in learning about building relationships with people of differing faiths and Christian traditions. Please download a poster for your bulletin boards and digital sites.

As followers of Christ, we take seriously Jesus' call to walk in peace with one another. If you have a Buddhist friend, neighbour, co-worker, or family member, be sure to share with them this letter of greeting and the peace Christ has given you.
