You are warmly invited to an art opening featuring the works of Horae Jiang on Thursday, October 16 at 6pm. Horae’s collection, entitled, “Memories of Richmond,” encompasses a wide variety of mediums, including watercolours and acrylic paints, and in a variety of styles, from still life to impressionistic art as she explores the shape and feeling of her new home and her experience as an immigrant to Canada. Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and community. Light refreshments will be provided.

About the Artist – Horae Jiang

Horae Jiang Chunbo was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang,China in1971. She moved to Guangdong Province with her parents at the age of seven. She graduated from Guangdong Provincial Institute of Education and completed the advanced research class of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. In 2003, she moved to Taiyuan with her husband and immigrated to Canada in 2022. She is a professional painter with thirty years of experience in college art teaching. She is a member of Shanxi Artists Association, Canadian International Watercolor Society, and Man in Hats in Richmond, BC. She currently works and lives in Richmond.

蒋春波 -艺术家简介

蒋春波1971年生于中国浙江宁波,七岁随父母移居到广东,毕业于广东省教育学院,广州美术学院高研班结业,2003 年随夫嫁到太原,2022年移民加拿大。职业画家,三十年高校美术教学经验,山西省美协会员,加拿大国际水彩协会会会员,卑诗省列治文市Man in hats成员,现工作生活于列治文市。
